Funding & Payments Options

Let's make getting started a little easier.

Figuring out how to pay for therapy can sometimes feel like a whole process on its own.

We offer several funding and payment options so you can find what works best for your child and your family.

Insurance

Tiny Sprouts Therapy is in network with select insurance plans.

We currently accept:

Blue Shield of California
Cigna
TRICARE

Your coverage, copay, deductible, authorization requirements, and number of covered visits will depend on your individual plan.

We'll help you navigate the insurance verification process before getting started so you have a better understanding of your benefits.

Private Pay

More flexibility. Fewer hoops.

For some families, private pay offers more freedom over what their child's therapy looks like.

Without insurance requirements guiding care, we can make decisions based on your child's individual needs and your family's priorities.

More flexibility

Choose the frequency and length of sessions that work for your child and your family's schedule.

No waiting for insurance authorization

Services aren't dependent on waiting for an insurance company to approve visits or additional sessions.

Your child's needs guide therapy

Treatment decisions are made between you and your clinician rather than being influenced by insurance requirements.

More options for services

Private pay can give families access to services or formats that may not be covered by their insurance plan.

Why Families Choose
Private Pay

Private Pay Doesn't Always Mean Paying Entirely
Out of Pocket

Depending on your family's eligibility, there may be other ways to help cover the cost of private-pay services.

HSA & FSA Funds

You may be able to use HSA or FSA funds toward eligible speech therapy and evaluation expenses, depending on your individual plan.

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

If your insurance includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to submit a superbill and receive partial reimbursement for eligible services.

Grants & Financial Assistance

Some organizations offer grants that may help cover speech therapy or AAC services. We can help you explore potential funding opportunities and provide documentation when appropriate.

Self- Determination Program

Families participating in California's Self Determination Program (SDP) may be able to use their individualized budget to access speech and language services.

If your child participates in SDP, reach out and let us know. We're happy to discuss the services you're looking for and whether we can work with your family's funding arrangement.

Not Sure Which Option Is Right for Your Family?

That's okay.

Insurance might be the best fit. You might prefer the flexibility of private pay. Or your child may have access to another source of funding.

Tell us a little about your child, the services you're looking for, and how you're hoping to fund care.

We'll help you figure out what comes next.

Insurance coverage and benefits vary by individual plan. Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of coverage or payment. HSA/FSA eligibility varies by plan. Families should confirm coverage and eligible expenses directly with their insurance carrier or plan administrator.
